The Octagon family of companies will hold a variety of seminars right here on our web-site during 2010. We are seeing positive economic news trickle in and the stock market continue to rebound. Unemployment is still high and many predict it will stay at high levels throughout 2012. Regardless of these trends and predictions, no one really knows when the labor markets will turn the corner and return to pre-recession levels. There is an intriguing dynamic that leaves companies puzzled at times as to why it is still so difficult in times of high unemployment to recruit top talent. At the same time, many great candidates, both currently employed and unemployed are finding it very challenging to manage a job search at this time. We will be conducting seminars each quarter to update both clients and candidates on this topic as well as other key trends that we observe throughout 2012.
